VANGHR delivers presentation to the Virginia Asthma Coalition in Norfolk

The Virginia Network for Geospatial Health Research (VANGHR) delivered a presentation at the quarterly meeting of the Eastern Virginia Asthma Coalition (VAC) in Norfolk. Steve Sedlock, founder and executive director of VANGHR, presented on “Geospatial Analysis of Outpatient and Inpatient Asthma Incidence in Virginia: An Overview Using Health Outcome Data”. VANGHR and the Virginia Department of Health conducted the first-ever cluster analysis of asthma outcome data in Virginia, and applied additional geospatial analysis tools to focus areas in the Tidewater and Southwest Virginia regions.
