Steve has twenty-four years of expertise in the geospatial technology industry. Since 1999, Steve has worked toward applying this technology in public health, with an emphasis on analytical and predictive modeling applications. He received his bachelors degree in geography from Virginia Tech, and his masters of urban and regional planning for Virginia Commonwealth University. Previous to VANGHR, Steve served as special research faculty for geospatial studies at Virginia Tech, as well as principal GIS health consultant for Keane, Inc.

Beth's expertise in public health complemented with her sound understanding of spatial autocorrelation and spatial regression makes her a leader in the application of geospatial technology to health and epidemiology. Beth received her bachelors degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, and Nutrition from James Madison University, and received her graduate certificate in geographic information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. Previous to VANGHR, she was an emergency health planner and environmental health specialist for the Virginia Department of Health.
