VANGHR delivers two presentations at the ESRI Health Conference in Denver

The Virginia Network for Geospatial Health Research (VANGHR) delivered two presentations at the ESRI Health Conference in Denver, Colorado. ESRI Health is the largest meeting of GIS health application users in the world. Steve Sedlock, founder and executive director of VANGHR, presented on “The Virginia Rural Health Data Portal”; and “Geospatial Analysis of Stroke Hospitalizations in Virginia”. The data portal presentation was conducted in cooperation with the Virginia Rural Health Resource Center, and was done as a demonstration of the geospatial and statistical components of the portal. The data portal is the most comprehensive online source for health and social determinant data in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Copies of the presentation are available in the white paper section of our website, at www.vnghr.org.
